At Pluta Cancer Center, we create individualized treatment programs for each patient that revolve around his or her life. Treatment Overview
Pluta provides radiation and chemotherapy on site. The radiation department possesses two leading-edge dual energy linear accelerators capable of delivering Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) treatment and utilizing the latest in image guidance (IGRT) to accurately target tumors. The Center also has a High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy unit that allows us to treat specific malignancies in the breast as well as certain gynecological and soft tissue tumors.
The medical oncology department utilizes state-of-the-art protocols. Chemotherapy is administered in a setting designed for patient comfort with lounge chairs, personal televisions, and wireless Internet services available.
