Pluta Cancer Center's signature event - the Emerald Ball - will this year feature a once-in-a-lifetime yacht vacation in the Caribbean or New England for ten people. The “Sweet Escape,” a 130-foot yacht features five staterooms, a main salon, formal dining, sky lounge, and fitness room.
Pluta Cancer Center’s 13th Annual Emerald Ball will take place Saturday, September 8, at Oak Hill Country Club, 145 Kilbourn Road in Rochester, N.Y. The gala celebrates Pluta’s compassionate team of caregivers and its leading-edge, patient-centered care. Funds raised at the ball go directly to patient care at Pluta Cancer Center.
The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) and Pluta Cancer Center (PCC) today announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding as the first step in a process that could lead to a merger that each said would benefit cancer patients in the greater Monroe County area.

The Rush-Henrietta Faculty Basketball Game raised $5,970 for Pluta Cancer Center! The proceeds will go toward the purchase of iPads for our staff in order to better access electronic medical records (EMRs).
