Named for the healing powers of the emerald, the Emerald Ball was established  to honor the caring staff at Pluta Cancer Center and to raise funds to provide support to patients experiencing economic hardship. The funds raised also allow Pluta to provide individualized complementary services as part of a patient's standard care and at no extra cost. Since its inception, funds raised have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in support directly to our patients in need and contributed to the Center’s success in attaining its mission to empower patients and their families.
